Jun’s journey into photography began with a lifelong love of beauty—first through his drawings and paintings, then behind the lens. What began as a short-term challenge, encouraged by a model and talent agent impressed with his early work, quickly grew into a thriving career.
Within a year, and without formal training, Jun became a sought-after, agency-approved photographer for top model and talent agencies in Michigan and across the country. He has photographed thousands of clients, offering not only striking images but also guidance and consultation for models, actors, and other talent at every stage.
Though his portfolio now spans a wide range of subjects, Jun still finds joy in working with both seasoned professionals and fresh faces, helping newcomers find their footing in the modeling and acting world. From babies and teens to adults and silver-haired stunners—he has captured them all with skill and heart.

Not Just Pictures—A Career Investment
These days, it seems everyone’s a photographer. The truth? A good camera and a YouTube tutorial aren’t enough—just like gaming doesn’t make you ready to pilot a real-life fighter jet.
Jun often meets aspiring models and actors who tried a budget shoot, only to have agencies turn them away. Some bounce back, others lose heart—or their budget.
While Jun doesn’t claim to be the only photographer who can help, he does know the industry inside out. His focus is always the same: creating images that give you a real shot at success.
His advice? Do it right the first time. It may cost more now, but the wrong photos can cost you far more later.

Before photography became his focus and career, Jun Pino had already mastered the art of visual storytelling through creative direction, graphic design, illustration, and fine arts—skills he honed while earning his BFA from the prestigious College for Creative Studies.
What surprises many is that Jun’s success behind the camera comes without formal photography training. A true one-stop creative powerhouse, he infuses every project with layers of artistry that go far beyond the shutter click. Clients love him not just for his images, but for the depth, vision, and polish he brings to the entire creative process.
As Jun puts it, “If I know I can make something better, why not do it? Photography is just another paintbrush in my coffee can of brushes.”
Jun’s love of art began before kindergarten, even as his schooling nudged him toward a medical path—following in the footsteps of his father, an MD, who, coincidentally, is quite an artist himself.
Today, Jun thrives in mixed-media, creating works for pop-up galleries, commissions, and charitable auctions supporting causes like cancer and AIDS research. His pieces have repeatedly drawn high bids, yet he humbly credits the community and collaborators around him for much of his success.
Most of his creative hours come after midnight, leaving him little sleep. “Pulling all-nighters didn’t end in art school,” he laughs. Still, the dedication is clear—art fuels him in both challenge and triumph.
His mantra reflects this duality:
“ART IS MY STRENGTH AND MY WEAKNESS.” — Jun Pino

Even “off-duty,” Jun can’t resist taking a shot when the moment calls, usually with his smartphone rather than the full camera arsenal. Technology is his sidekick… most of the time.
From cheeky inanimate objects and playful parodies to breathtaking landscapes and visuals that make you pause, his personal photos prove one thing: his specialty isn’t just people—it’s seeing the world differently.
As Jun says, “Just because a doctor specializes doesn’t mean they can’t handle general practice. And honestly, capturing spontaneous moments? That’s where the fun really begins.”

For Jun, sound is a feast for the senses—and photographing the artists who create this aural magic is the sweet, unforgettable icing on top.
