Jun Pino has been behind the camera for everything from high-fashion editorials to intimate portraits, from glossy commercial campaigns to the occasional “sure, I’ll shoot your cousin’s wedding” favor. His photography spans Commercial, Model & Talent, Portrait, Fashion, Live Event, Editorial, and Fine Art—but labels barely scratch the surface.
Over the years, his work has appeared in the likes of Vogue, Nylon, Playboy, Elle-Girl, Maxim, and more, and has been trusted by brands such as Mazda, Harley-Davidson, Harman/Kardon, Samsung, Redken, Neiman Marcus, and pretty much every major model and talent agency in Michigan (plus a bunch of the majors beyond state lines).
He’s photographed celebrities, served four years as the official photographer for Miss Michigan USA & Miss Michigan Teen USA, and even had images appear on Fashion File and America’s Next Top Model.
His love for all things creative has earned him titles as a Creative Director, Graphic Designer, Illustrator, and Fine Artist. When he’s not shooting for clients, Jun’s still creating—crafting fine art for shows and charity events, often fetching top bids for good causes. Despite traveling the country for his work and having had the pleasure of seeing the world, he keeps his creative roots planted in Downtown Royal Oak, Michigan, where he insists the light is “just as good as Paris… most days.”
